Brownbag: Results of Law Firm Legal Research Survey

Patrick Meyer will summarize results from his recent law firm legal research survey, which determined what research functions, and in what formats, law firms require new hires to be proficient. Such information effectively answers the question of what sources and types of research should be taught in an integrated fashion.

In the spirit of recent pronouncements by governing bodies and scholars that law schools should focus on preparing students for law practice, law firm survey results indicate a need to integrate the teaching of online and print-based research resources and to emphasize cost-effective research. Come out to see which types of resources firms are telling us to teach in an integrated fashion.

When: Noon, Wednesday, Nov. 9
Where: Thomas Jefferson School of Law
Room 229
