Did you ever wonder what kind of a library it takes to support the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park? What might be a typical day for a librarian in that environment? Do you think they have a koala on their desks? Do they have desks?

Join us to learn the answers to these questions and others at Sandall’s first Brown Bag of the new year. Talitha Matlin, Associate Director of Library Services, San Diego Zoo Global, will provide an overview of the collections, patrons and daily work, as well as her unique professional path into zoological librarianship.

Tom regularly speaks at AALL, CALI, and other national conferences on a variety of topics related to technology in law libraries. We’ll also hear about Westlaw & Lexis mobile apps and a couple of cool local mobile apps projects at Balboa Park and SDSU Library. Learn how to bring mobile apps to your library!
